Who am I?
Mateusz Płaziński – certified translator of English, Polish, and French, entered on the list of the Minister of Justice ( TP/84/17 ) . For over 10 years, I have been providing certified and specialized translations for private individuals, law firms and companies from all over Poland and abroad.
I specialize in certified translations of official and legal documents, including civil status records, certificates, diplomas, powers of attorney, contracts, and other documents required by offices, courts, law firms, and institutions in Poland and abroad. I also offer interpreting services for notaries and other public offices.

How much does a certified translation cost?
The price of a certified translation depends on the document's length, format, and type. The quote is free and non-binding – simply send a scan of the document. I will send the quote the same day.
Do I need to bring the original document or will a scan suffice?
To obtain a quote and complete the translation, all you need is a scan or photo of the document sent via email or WhatsApp. If the source document is an original, it must be presented upon collection in Warsaw. If the translation is from a copy (scan or photocopy), I can send the completed document electronically as a PDF with a qualified electronic signature.
How long does it take to complete a certified translation?
Standard processing time is 1–3 business days, depending on the volume and type of document.
In urgent cases, I offer express delivery – even on the same or next business day, after prior arrangement.
Is certified translation accepted abroad?
Yes. Certified translations performed by a translator registered with the Minister of Justice are accepted by offices, courts, and institutions in EU countries and many other countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK. In some cases, the translation also requires legalization by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs—this is known as an apostille.
What is the difference between a certified translation and a regular translation?
A certifed ("sworn") translation bears the seal and signature of a certified translator entered on the list of the Polish Minister of Justice. Only such a document is accepted by offices, courts, and institutions requiring official certification of translation. A standard translation does not possess these attributes and is intended for informational or business purposes.
